Thanks Auburn!

As 2017 is reaching its end, I would like to take a moment and dedicate my first post in my blog to thank two amazing mentors who helped me to finish one of the most important chapters of my professional life. In the past summer, I successfully defended my Ph.D. dissertation under the advisory of Dr. Jeffrey Smith and Dr. Kevin Gue at Auburn University. My dissertation focuses on designing optimal layouts in terms of space utilization and transportation costs for block staking warehouses. It resulted in multiple papers that have been published or will be out, hopefully, soon. I would like to express my deepest appreciation to my co-advisers whose excellent guidance, expertise, enthusiasm, and patience greatly assisted me in finishing this long journey, which was full of ups and downs, challenges, and fun moments. Now that I look at the past, I feel that they have contributed a lot to my professional and personal life. I have learned a lot from them and am eager to continue learning more in further steps in my career. Thanks folks for making it possible and War Eagle!

Here are some pictures to share 🙂 :
